Education has flopped, to begin with. There is a fine line between knowing a bunch of dates, numbers, or equations than learning the actual significance behind them.
Understanding how that moment in history was made, or how the physics equation was arrived at (not in math steps, but logical steps) is education. That has the power to make the mind, think outside the box, learn perspectives, and build imagination.
Everyone knows E=MC^2, but little people know the brilliant thought process Einstein used to arrive there, completely from imagination.
Right now, we have a syllabus that students have to remember. There isn't a means for them to engage with it and build ideas around them. It works like a still model.
Make them think, not byheart.
